First of all what is Connect Direct? Connect Direct is a peer-to-peer file based integration middleware optimized for assured data delivery, high volume and secured data delivery within and between enterprises. From May 5 to May 9 2008 I was lucky enough to have taken part in the training for Connect Direct in Beijing, China with our client Allied Bank. The trainees where Mike Vargas and Charles Gagan(IT operations), Jesus Bonifacio and Marlon Tumang(mainframe tech support) and yours truly. Steven Zhang a Senior Solutions Consultant of Sterling Commerce North Asia conducted the training together with Lina from Bayshore a Sterling partner who provided assistance with other training needs.
